I have honestly run out of stuff to blog about on this website.
I'm not getting paid for it or anything so I'm going to stop.
I've been busy looking for work. Finished the house. Looks alright. No more mouse. No drafts. Kichen is great, etc... But in essence it is finished. I can't go any further with this house. Just selling junk on e-bay to make space and that's about it.
This house desparately needs some double glazing/glazing and a new boiler but I don't have the money for that so I'm just looking for work again and wrapping up warm. A LIFE WITH LIMITS!!! Safe :)
The plastering went really well you'll all be glad to hear. Fitted a flouescent light instead of the old bare lightbulb. Fitted skirting. Changed route of plumbing tomake way for the new work surface which is ace. Got some legs from homebase as supports and it's nice and sturdy with clean lines and bright lights.
My mum telling me she loved it meant alot too me because she was always complaining about what a crap hole my house was.
Wiould love to carry on with my skills I've learnt but life is never that simple....
Only thing that is pissing me off a bit is this f*****g wooden floor. Hasn't been fitted by a tradesman and it shows. Really bad drafts between floor and skirting suck. Not easy to fix either.
Planning on just injecting sealant round perimeter when weather permits. Have some kreosote ready for garden fence in summer and may extend patio depending on what I've got on in 3 months time.
Need to get rid of excess lounge furniture for a dining table and chairs too. Got two lounges, need one lounge and one dining room if I'm going to host chrimbo. If anyone is interested there is quite a good website called:
"freecycle.co.uk" which is like a swap shop.
They also have a service on facebook that allows people to swap stuff too.
This is the correct name of the website. Great idea this site with a surprisingly large amount of stuff being given away free around where I live. One man's junk is another man's treasure? or something like that....?

I do a very convincing impression of a homeless person. I wouldn't recommend it if you're supposed to be glamourous for a living....
ReplyDeleteHere is Ryan Sheckler signing his no responsibility will be taken for death or dismemberment claus before having a go on Danny Way's mega-ramp.
