  2. One of the things I think is shit about Birmingham as a city in any work environment is the groups of people who look very similar to each other who run companies.

There is always what is called "the mini-hitler". Looks a bit like Robbie Williams but is only five foot tall. Childish/boyish, hateful, lazy, manipulative, humourless (except for an inate sense of pleasure at other people's misfortune) and has the full backing of the management and his peers to be as much of a bastard as possible to the workers around him. He's straight, but he's the missing link to our primate past. I find this type of employee the most difficult to work with.

Typically there is, "the messonic fat bastard" (the fat controller) who is kind of like a relic form our church leader past who's job it was to keep everybody in the dark so as to safeguard his own position (company) and assume a god-like status over all employees who is beyond reproach and not only lazy but difficult to deal with for want of trying to impose his authority for the sake of imposing his authority.

In much the same way there are blonde people I'm sure, who share similar traites. I have noticed there are not just groups of similar people within Birmingham but within areas and the wards of Birmingham. North Birmingaham blondes in the Bad-lands are a hardy breed, difficult place to live and grow up. There is a well mannered Birmngham blonde towards the outskirts to the South East. There is a blonde male that polices too that is quite specific looking and a walking clich'e of what modern society might consider good-looking. The military blonde has rough hair like Prince Harry and is having a shit time permenantly at work putting on a brave face. Most blonde people are unable to impose themselves in the work environment as an authority and are down trodden and overworked.

I have come to view ginger people as the saviours of white society because of their level headed approach to work, their ability and their honesty. They never really get involved with the politics of management either but they are a valuble defence in so far as they're as good as any worker from anywhere in the world without bias or special treatment.

In the public sector, women rule the roost. Health care, registered charities, schools,etc... Again stereotypes, the typical Brummie women in management is overweight, wears glasses, has dark hair, is desparate, lazy, but has a vice like grip on power and has a network of friends and associates that is impenetrable. There's the "cool" brummie woman, who is facinating to look at and talk to and has a full figure but is basically the fat bitches second in command and between them they can oust anybody they like as they please. Blonde women tend to just do jobs that require someone who looks right for the job, receptionists, assistants. Blonde women are the female counterpart to the mini-hitler. Callous and unfeeling (whore shit)

Again, likes blacks, it's difficult to diferentiate between male and female with red-heads. They're basically very similar mentally and in the way they work.

The public sector attracts men who are very concerned with how they look and how friendly and affable they are, probably because their position in a company is dictated by women and quite often they are a role-model or authority figure moreso than ... a blue collar worker.

  3. I hope nobody minds me blogging all this stuff. It's a cathartic process, a bit like skating. A release for me. There's alot of things that need to be said and I'm saying it.

I don't like small town mentalities, I hate it when applied to a city even less. These fucking inbreed, backward, retarded work environments and groups in society are a real menace and a real pain for well meaning upstanding people of progress and fairness. I will not waver to these people. They can go fuck themselves.

  4. I was doing was my job and I was unfairly dismissed. This really is the only point I'm trying to make. It's very annoying. I don't like being a hateful person.

Scum and cream rise to the top together in management as they say.

  5. They've just closed down Land Rover nearby. There is no reasoning at all for that other than bad management.

I'm serious, thanks for singing Robbie Williams, I call him a "cunt" in an affectionate way. I hope he would be able to see the humour in that, especially considering his new album...

  6. Skateboarders are a rotten lot. You'd be surprised at how competitive and how much aggro you have to put up with with skaters. Bunch of assholes. It's supposed to be fum but you get to a certain age where it all gets serious... Singing is harmless you might have thought. "My friends are all so synical, refuse to keep the faith. We all enjoy the madness because we know we're gonna fade away..." pleasurable even.

  7. In chinese philosophy destructive behaviour is a product of boredom so it could be argued that entertainment that relieves boredom can only be a good thing.

Entertainment is a good thing as long as it isn't simply destruction presented as entertainment.

  8. The interesting thing about chinese philosophy with relation to the "yin-yan" symbol is that the yin-yan symbol was originally devised as a tool for doctors to use to help patients by trying to keep their energies in balance and so keep them in good health.

And there are some really interesting theories that come with this. For example, high temperature of the body is thought to depress the human spirit but increase it's tolerance to hardship and illness whereas a low temperature of the body is thought to increase or heighten the human spririt but lessen the bodies tolerance to illness and stuff like that.

It's the stuff to do with respiration and the availability of air to breath that is interesting because it bears no resembalance to modern scientific explanations of air in molecular or chemical terms but it puts forward notions that sometimes when people breath they are producing air and sometimes consuming it and sometimes they are unable to breath or they they faint or become giddy.

The yin-yan theory is as compelling as a scientific view point when you come to think about the way your body and soul function and personal experience when compared to the theory. Two totally different ways of looking at the world that conflict on every level.

Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.

  9. Another interpretation of science in comparison to religion is that science is based upon taking measurements and from these measurements being able to make predictions.

Religion it could be said is based upon human perception and personal experience without mathematical certainty. That our relationship with the world around us and our history is a "black art".

I used to work with metalogists and "unskilled" floor staff. The floor staff with their years of hands on experience would call metalogy a "black art" whereas the lab technicians with their degrees and certificates would call it a "science".

On occasions the floor staff would aquire more knowledge than the lab staff from customer feedback, experience and preference and on occasion the lab staff would toy with the floor staff by keeping them in the dark too. Both trying to have the best understanding of their profession as possible from two view points.

I am a deeply religious nonbeliever - this is a somewhat new kind of religion.

  10. LISTEN!! I didn't like any of my fellow staff. The only person looking out for me was me. I don't want to be associated with management like that in the future. YES! They are trying to protect their own jobs but at what cost to the other workers? What they were doing to the staff was not on. If I had listened to Pete a little better about slowing down I might not have sustained a back injury but the big thing that the management should have been obliged to enforce to protect staff was stop them picking up loads by hand that weigh more than 25kg. I didn't know this until I had left the company. My brother (an Engineering project manager) conviently forgot to tell me this law until I was in hospital. If someone else damages themselves in the company you read the warning here first. Alot of bad bastards.

No-one is ever sued no-one ever listens. Everyone is reluctant to enforce the law which they konw to be the right thing to do and so these incidents will happen again and again until society chooses to be a better, moral, legal place to live. I blame a fractured society. I blame people's lack of willing to get along or act as one company. Taking sides within a company against individuals is not on in my book. Do whatever the fuck you like in your free time but lifes too short for me to be putting up with those arseholes and that's the bottom line.

The fact this country has the audacity to try and press it's values upon other countries is beyond belief. Not in my name.
