Anyway, I still don't trust the chinese/japanese, they're full of shit and will spin any yarn they feel fit to try and throw you off the scent of their true intentions. I wouldn't trust them to wash my car and there's no on f**king earth I'd let them run our MOD systems.
The point I'm making about the IBM mainframe system is it uses a standard telephone line to relay information so it is relatively secure compared to the use of wireless modems and/or local nteworks with a main server in a given area.
The point being of a WAN Intranet is that it is by enlarge a separate system from the internet. The main Server and back up server are kept on site within the company grounds to stop infiltration. I firewall is set up if any information has to be passed from a computer outside the system though this is not a fail safe and I would recommend against it unless you know what you're doing.
Obviously modern computers no longer cater for the connection directly to your telephone landline with the advent of RJ11 cables but you can still get hold of the conversion link adaptors that will allow a modern RJ11 connection to fit into your telephone wall jack.
If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it..... I'm sure there are people with a better working knowledge of what I'm talking about. I'm just working from memory from what I learnt at UNI (95% top of the year don't you know, for IT anyway)
Black Sabbath is an aquired taste and it has to be said alot of the work they produced was f**king shit but I applaud this version of Iron Man in Paris. It has really medievil overtones and is pretty kick ass all round. I do look forward to them on the radio but it seems like they are never played.
